   I really like text messaging.  I do it a lot and think its really fun.  On average I text about 20 times a day.  When I text I usually text about five people at a time.  When I text I talk a little different, as far as the way that I spell my words.  I don’t think It affects my writing.  I usually know the difference from when im texting and when im writing.  When im writing I don’t spell my words the way that I would when im texting.  I don’t think text messaging will affect your face to face comunication.  When you are texting, you talk to the person as if that person was right there in front of you.  So it’s like the same thing.  As for me I think that text messaging is really fun.

2. Prejudice is an adverse judgment or opinion former beforehand or without knowledge or examination of the fact. I rarely see it happen. I sometimes see it on T.V. but thats just movies. I felt like it was a bad thing, but it didnt bother me that much because i knew it was just a movie. I didnt do anything because i couldnt. If i heard it in a classroom i would say that it is very disrespectful and inappropriate. I would probably notify it to my teacher. If i saw it happen to a classmate i would step in and stick up for the person.

3. I used to live on 58th street.  Over by the roundabout.  It was one long street that had one line of houses.  I thought it was a good neighborhood.  It had many kids in it.  I saw them playing outside all the time.  To me they all seemed pretty happy.  I thought it would be a great place to grow up.  Everyone was friendly and always doing something.  The only bad thing about this street was that it is on a bussy road.  So you alway had to be careful and look out for each other.

5. Justice to me is making amends to a problem or a rong doing made right.  The most unjust occurence that I can think of is the fact that we have attorneys that defend people who are guilty and know that their clients are guilty, but still defend them because they are being payed to.  It seems like money is more important that sending the right person to jail.

Fishing With My Brother
Fishing with my brother is a big part of my life. I fish a lot. I started fishing when i was very young. I have loved it since the start. I use to fish with my brother every weekend and every chance i got. A couple years ago he moved to portland. Ever since that i haven’t fished as often. Every now and then we go up to portland to stay with him. When we go up there we fish all the time. We fish at many places, such as Sandy River, the Deshouts, etc. We mostly fish for salmon and steelhead. I really like fishing and will probably be a fisherman for the rest of my life.

I dont really know any new understanding that i have gained from the independant reading. I think that my reading skills have gotten a little better now that we read everyday at the first of class. To me reading a book is just reading. I dont really know anything different from reading my book.

The book i chose to read in class is Carrie by Stephen King. I chose this book because when i went to the library. I looked and this was one i saw. It looked good to me so i checked it out. Another reason why i chose this book is because i really like Stephen  King books. I think he is a great writer. I dont really like to read. So im not very good at picking books. I usually pick the book that catchs my eye first.

I realy like the whole blog idea. I think its better to do things on the computer than on paper or in the class. It will also teach us how to use computers better. I am ok with the computer. I am not on it all the time but i get on occationaly. My opinion on writing is not very good. i dont like to write therefore i dont write much. People are concerned about their kid’s using ther internet because there are bad people on the internet and parents try everything to keep their kids away from those bad people. Over all i like the internet. And im glad we get to do the blogs.
